Ballynease and Bellaghy CC Choir

Our cross community choir recently performed at the Hilton Hotel in Belfast at a Shared Education conference. Included in the picture are staff from Bellaghy Primary, St John Bosco Primary, Mrs Lorna Gardiner, Head of CASS, Mr Shane McCurdy, Chief Executive of NEELB, Mr Noel Thompson BBC, Sandra Overend MLA and Roisin Marshall NEELB PIEE project

2010

Pupils from Bellaghy Primary School and St John Bosco Primary School came together to form a cross-community choir. The choir, trained by Mrs Mary-Lou Richmond and Mrs Judith Torrens, performed at the Ballymena Festival. The adjudicator, Ms Gaynor Keeble, complimented the choir on its real energy and commitment, awarding the children a creditable second place.
