Parent/Teacher Association
Here at Bellaghy Primary School we have a very supportive Parent/Teacher Association. Our primary aim is to promote the school through various events which not only raise much needed funds but also help bring parents, grandparents, extended family and friends together in the local community. These events such as our Annual Breakfast with Santa, Movie nights etc have raised significant funds over the years that help pay for many different projects year after year, both big and small investments.
The Parent/Teacher Association has helped fund interactive white boards, accelerated reading programme, sound system and much much more. Most recent of all they paid for the painting of classrooms within the school to the delight of the teachers.
The children can now incorporate tablets into their everyday learning as a result of the purchase of a number of ipads by the PTA - an investment that has already proven to be a huge success not just with the pupils but also with the teachers.
